All eyes were on CBS's 60 Minutes last night as former adult film star Stormy Daniels sat down with Anderson Cooper to reveal what went down with US President Donald Trump and the impact it's had on her life.

The much-hyped interview didn't really provide much new information on top of what the original interview with In Touch already revealed in 2011. But the 38-year-old did explain how the story has led to her being harassed in front of her infant daughter.

When she sold the story to the magazine seven years ago, the publication decided not to run it after Donald Trump's lawyer Michael Cohen allegedly threatened to sue.

A few weeks later, Ms Daniels says she was confronted.

"I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter," she told 60 Minutes. "Taking, you know, the seats facing backwards in the backseat, diaper bag, you know, getting all the stuff out.

"And a guy walked up on me and said to me, 'Leave Trump alone. Forget the story'.

And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, 'That's a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mum.' And then he was gone.

"I was rattled. I remember going into the workout class. And my hands are shaking so much, I was afraid I was going to drop her."

Many people were wondering whether we'd get a sneak peek at what was on the unmarked CD that was teased by Ms Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti.

He's promised that it contains some sort of evidence of the alleged affair, but nothing was shown on 60 Minutes.

When Anderson Cooper asked if the attorney was simply bluffing he offered this cheeky reply: "You should ask some of the other people in my career when they've bet on me bluffing."

Ms Daniels revealed when Donald Trump won the Republican nomination during the Presidential campaign, people started asking whether she wanted to sell her story again and one news organisation made her an offer.

It was here that Michael Cohen allegedly offered Ms Daniels $130,000 and made her sign a non-disclosure agreement, which she called 'hush money' and she said she felt 'no choice' but to agree to.

Cooper said: "I mean, no one was putting a gun to your head?"

But she said while no physical gun was put to her head to sign on the dotted line, she alleged the people on Trump's side said: "They can make your life hell in many different ways."
