Nigel Farage has quit as the leader of UKIP.
The 52-year-old politician said he had "done my bit" following the UK's referendum vote to leave the EU.
Speaking at his first speech since the result, he said: "Tough though it has been at times it has definitely all been worth it." He also said that he never wanted to be a career politician.
Advert
"I now feel that I have done my bit... So I feel it's right that I should now stand aside as leader of UKIP."
So we've lost Boris, Dave and Nigel in the space of two weeks. Christ, who will be next.
