This Chart Regarding Age Group And The EU Referendum Makes Very Interesting Reading

Age is a defining factor.

For those of you who are between 18 and 24 years old, and who voted remain, this chart is pretty fucking upsetting.

It looks as though 72 percent of you backed a Remain vote, with only 19 percent choosing to leave - according to the final YouGov poll before the referendum. The other nine percent were presumably undecided.

As these voters are part of the group that will be affected by this change for the longest period of time, it's a massive kick in the balls for those wanting to remain.

Soon, we'll get the actual figures of how each age group voted, but this indication makes pretty interesting reading.

The Independent featured these charts, which put it into a bit more perspective:

And by looking at data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) this is how long (on average) we will all have to live with this decision.

Only time will tell what the implications of this decision actually are for the UK, but at least you can always count on that guy you haven't spoken to since high school to deliver a strong insight into how the country is 'fucked' in his status on Facebook.
