A preacher from the United States has claimed that an alien, which turned out to be some sort of reptilian creature, invaded her bedroom on several occasions disguised as her husband and attempted to convince her to have sex with it. You can see these bold – and utterly bizarre – claims in the video below.
Honestly, there’s so much going on in that sentence right there that we’ll just have to start from the beginning and hope that by the end it starts to make some kind of sense.

The shocking revelation came from the preacher, talk show host, and author Sharon Gilbert, who appeared on a religious TV show hosted by the controversial preacher Jim Bakker.
On the online television programme, Gilbert spoke about her surreal encounter with the extra-terrestrial being, which she claims happened just after she’d married her husband Derek.
Here we go.
She said: “After Derek and I got married...one night, this other Derek appears in our bed.

“The real Derek is lying down next to me.
“The other Derek sits right up out of it. It startled me. I knew that was not Derek.
“So I asked this critter: ‘Who are you?’ because he clearly wanted to have sexual relations.
“He said ‘come on, I’m your husband.’ I said ‘who are you?’ and he had the nerve to claim to be Ahasuerus - Xerxes [the fourth King of Kings of the Achaemenid Empire who ruled from 486 to 465 BC].”

Whoa there, what?
The alien was claiming to be a character from several books of the Old Testament, as well as a bloke called Derek who was there in the room at the time.
An alien of many talents, clearly.

She went on to say that the creature visited her several times, and only once she managed to ‘verbalise the name of Jesus did he go away’.
Gilbert claims she could hear the voice of the creature in her head and couldn’t move, only managing to fight the creature away when she could pray.
She believes that the creature – which she claims visited her a dozen or so times over five years – was trying to ‘use my free will to do something that was going to pull me away from God.’
In the end, she thought ‘I’ve had enough’.

She explained: “I reached up, I grabbed his face and I said, ‘You are a liar. And Jesus is real.’ And I pulled that face-off. And beneath it was a reptile.”
Not just a reptile, it had ‘little creatures with him this time, these little halfling creatures and they looked like gargoyles, they were reptilian as well.’
“So beneath that face of Derek was a reptilian serpentine creature, probably similar to what visited the Anasazi...” she added.
The Anasazi were a Native American group of people who disappeared from New Mexico in the 14th century.
Some conspiracy theorists believe that aliens were involved.
It’s worth pointing out that much of the episode of Bakker’s programme was promoting a DVD called The Great Delusion, which addresses conspiracy theories surrounding UFOs, aliens, and other supernatural beings.
