Romeo 'Becomes Richest Beckham Sibling' After Signing £1.2m Deal With Puma

Romeo 'Becomes Richest Beckham Sibling' After Signing £1.2m Deal With Puma

The teen is already a footballer like his dad, and he's now been snapped up by Puma

Nineteen-year-old Romeo Beckham is reportedly the wealthiest of the Beckham kids after landing himself a lucrative contract with Puma.

The teen has followed in his dad David’s footsteps and plays football for Fort Lauderdale FC, and, much like his dad, has now been snapped up for sportswear collaboration.

Romeo is reported to have been signed on to a £1.2million deal to become the new face of Puma and is being eyed up by other big brands.

A source told the Sun: “Romeo was paid £1.2million for his deal to become the new global face of Puma.

“He’s the richest of the Beckham brood now and like his father is on a fast track to super stardom.

“Romeo is really hard-working and, as well as pushing for success on the pitch playing for Fort Lauderdale CF, the reserve team of David’s Inter Miami club, he is also carving out a name for himself among advertisers.

“The deal with Puma will hopefully become a long-standing collaboration.

“Just like David worked with Adidas for over 20 years, it is likely Romeo will do the same with Puma.

“He is young and perfect for their target demographic so to Puma he was worth every penny.

“This is just the first of big commercial deals off the pitch for Romeo in his new career as a pro footballer.

“Designer brand Yves Saint Laurent have shown a real interest in Romeo after he worked with them in the summer and it's likely they’ll try and snare him for another campaign.

“The future is very bright for Romeo and it won’t be long until he’s banking another million.”

Alright for some, eh?

Puma has revealed that Romeo will be wearing its FUTURE Z 1.2 boots when he takes to the field with Fort Lauderdale CF for his second season.

In a statement, he said: “The FUTURE Z boots match my game perfectly.

“They're light so that I can use my pace and agility, but they also grip the ball amazingly so I can dribble and pass effectively.”

He added: “I love the colours of the Under the Lights pack, which combine my passions of fashion and football.”

The nineteen-year-old shares his time between the US, where his football team is based, and his family’s home in the UK.

Romeo is the second eldest of the four Beckham siblings, with older brother Brooklyn, 22, also living in the states, while Cruz,16, and ten-year-old Harper are in the UK where they go to school.
