There's no shortage of people complaining about the ridiculous sums of money that some sporting stars earn around the world. Some might receive more than your yearly salary in a week and, naturally, many people believe reckon athletes should use their vast wealth to help the less fortunate.
Well, that's exactly what Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Chris Long has done.
But the 32-year-old hasn't just given a slice of his salary for 2017 - he's released the whole thing.
According to CNBC, Long gave his paycheques from the first half of last year to fund scholarships in Charlottesville, Virginia, where he's from.

That small town was thrust into the spotlight in August last year when riots broke out between white nationalists and their opponents.
Long says he was inspired by the tragic scenes that erupted to try to enable change in the area.
Speaking to the Washington Post, the Super Bowl champion said: "I've always believed there are inequities in our country. People's apathy or resentment for that reality has been surfacing a lot lately. And so for me, it's like, 'I'm going to be a part of the solution.'"
His one-year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles netted him a cool $1 million (£716,784), including a $500,000 (£358,392) signing bonus and a $1.5 million (£1.07 million) roster bonus.
The remaining 10 paycheques went to the three places which have given him a career: St. Louis, Boston and Philadelphia. Not only that, but he asked donors to pledge a bit of cash themselves or even match his contributions.
Incredibly, a whopping $1,326,799 (£950,989) was raised, with Long writing: "I can't thank you enough for standing with me and making this investment in youth. Deciding to donate all of my game cheques to charity made this a big season for me, and your generosity made it even bigger.
"Every game this year I took the field with a little extra motivation. I knew that in doing what I love on Sundays, I was able to enhance my platform and do more good."
The NFL player launched The Chris Long Foundation in 2015, which was designed to raise funds to help build wells for communities in Tanzania. The charity also helps returned servicemen and women across the US and the homeless in St Louis.
Former US President Barack Obama has described Long's generosity as 'what's best about America' and it's not hard to see why.
