We were not expecting the Bolt of lightning to walk back onto the world's stage so soon after he hinted at his retirement from the sport on Thursday.
His epic performance, alongside his teammates in the 4x 100m final last night, earned him his third gold of the games and his ninth Olympic title.

However, the Jamaican champion won't be leaving the host city so soon as he now gears up for his role in the Paralympic Games.
Don't worry, he hasn't broken his leg and put in a last-minute application for the event. Instead, he will be running as a guide for Brazil's three-time Paralympic champion Terezinha Guilhermina.

"Running with him [Bolt] is a joy for any athlete," said Guilhermina. when the announcement was made last year. "Bolt is a reference in the sport and I'm happy to have participated in this race. I fulfilled a dream."

With Bolt in the picture, we can't wait to see how the pair celebrate their wins. Perhaps his trademark lightning bolt pose will make an appearance?
