Conor McGregor certainly earned himself plenty of respect on Saturday night, despite losing to Floyd Mayweather.

The fighter lasted ten rounds before the fight was stopped - going longer than many other thought - and was equally humble during his post-fight press conference.

On Friday, McGregor's agent Audie Attar told LADbible: "[After Saturday] Conor wants to defend his UFC titles, he's said that publicly, it's part of his plan.

"To know what is going to happen next, we have to wait until after this fight... I think it's always good to have options. I think right now if you look at it, whether he fights UFC or not, we have options."

Well, it looks as though the Irishman is set on rematching his MMA nemesis, Nate Diaz.

The pair met at UFC 196, in which Diaz was victorious by submission, while at UFC 202, McGregor won by decision.

If they were to meet again, though, the man they call 'The Notorious' said that it would be on his terms only.

"I faced him at 170lbs, he beat me," McGregor said. "I rematched him at 170lbs, I beat him. Now I'm the 155lbs champion, now if he wants that fight, he must come down - that's a fair trade.

"I didn't ask for the rematch at a lower weight. I asked for it at the exact same weight. I thought that was a fair play move on my behalf and I came in and I won.

"So now I won the 155lb title after that, so if he wants the fight he has to make the 155lb limit."

Audie Attar has since told MMAjunkie that Diaz is wanted by McGregor.

"He wants that triology," Attar said, before confirming all the other options on the table.

"You've got Khabib calling him out, then you obviously have Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee who are fighting for the interim lightweight title. You have Max Holloway, who is the 145 champ now, who Conor beat after blowing out his ACL at the beginning of the fight. You have options, and he loved mixed martial arts.

"Everyone is like, 'Oh he's going to retire - he made so much money.' He's ambitious. He's super ambitious, and he loved to fight. He loves to compete and he's a superb professional athlete. So, there's much more Conor McGregor that everybody will see, and we'll see what's next."
