UFC boss Dana White has offered a job to a woman who was fired for forcibly removing a shoplifter from a Best Buy supermarket in Hawaii. Have a look at the video - she's not messing about.

Twenty-four-year-old Summer Tapasa-Sataraka found herself at the centre of an unlikely viral storm when security footage of her stopping an alleged robbery at the shop she worked at, but now finds herself the subject of a job offer from the MMA mogul, and with tickets to the biggest fight going: Conor McGregor vs Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone on 18 January.

It's not clear whether she has actually lost her job at Best Buy, or what job White is actually planning to offer her, but White was obviously moved by the footage of her halting the alleged thief in his tracks.

He tweeted: "This is Summer. She stopped this punk from getting away with stealing from Best Buy in Hawaii.

"She got fired for this. Flying her in this weekend and giving her tickets to the McGregor vs Cowboy fight. I WANT HER TO WORK FOR ME! Get ready for the best weekend of your life Summer."

She didn't mess around with the alleged thief.

Hey, every cloud has a silver lining, right?

She might be out of a job, but tickets to the McGregor-Cerrone bout at UFC 246 and the offer of a different job, should she need it, must be some comfort, right?

Anyway, explaining her side of events, Summer shared a post on her Facebook page back before Christmas in which she claimed to have seen the man in the video previously attempt to rob from the store.

It was then that she decided it wasn't going to happen on her watch.

She wrote: "When I recognised him when he came into the store, I kept my eye (the cameras) on him.

""He went for the same speaker (and) when he saw that one exit was busy, he ran for the other one closest to me (and) I just kept thinking... not today!!

"The fact that he's so comfortable with just coming in (and) walking out with stuff is what I had to stop.

"Now he can (second) guess the next time he ever wants to come up in here and pull the same thing he did."

She continued: ""I didn't do this for anybody. Not for Best Buy. Not for the managers or the corporation. Not for Clout. I did this (because) he needs to know, this needs to stop."

To be fair, Summer had already handed in her notice at the time of this incident, but she seems pretty sure she'd be terminated for this, whatever the situation.

Earlier this week, she tweeted: "I need an agent."

Well, perhaps not, because White seems dead set on hiring her in some capacity.

Speaking to TMZ on Friday, he re-iterated that he's 'dead serious' about getting her a new job.

He added: "You're crazy Best Buy! You should've kept her! I'm gonna steal her from you now!

"I'm gonna rock star the s*** out of her and then we'll see what happens."

We will indeed, Dana. We will indeed.
