Jake Paul reckons he'll one day fight Canelo Alvarez, saying 'anything's possible' when it comes to his fighting career.

Speaking to TMZ Sports, Paul admitted that the fight wasn't likely to take place any time soon, but said he thinks the 'sky's the limit' and he has his eyes on a title fight.

He told the news outlet: "I just want to continue to be the most disruptive boxer in the history of the sport - and I think it's taking it on a fight by fight basis and continuing to take these fights and make them even bigger.

"Take on more serious opponents and... look, if you asked me if I was going to be where I'm at three years ago, I wouldn't believe you.

"So, I don't even want to think about or cap myself with possibilities. I'm all about being open minded and I think anything is possible.

"I think I could be fighting against Canelo Alvarez for the WBC or the WBO championship belt.

"So really the sky's the limit and it's just about how seriously I take it, and I do take it seriously - more seriously than 99.9 percent of these 'professional' boxers that are out there."

He added: "Why not [fight Alvarez], baby? A lot of people are afraid, right? They're afraid to try, they're afraid to get up out of their seats, but that's them, that's not me.

"I know that I can accomplish anything I set my mind to and that's why there's a difference between successful and unsuccessful."

The 24-year-old made the comments as he gears up for his latest bout against former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.

Woodley, 39, is set to make his professional boxing debut against the YouTuber-turned-boxer in Miami on 28 August.

Paul has a 3-0 professional boxing record, most recently securing a win against former UFC star Askren.

Woodley, 39, has a 19-7-1 record and won the UFC welterweight championship in 2016 - he successfully defended his title four times, before losing it in 2019.

Woodley called out Paul back in April, telling ESPN: "You had a lot to say in the locker room. Let's fight.

"I wanna hear what [Jake Paul] gotta say about it. You wanna fight me? He could fight me.

"I'll fight his friend in MMA, because I wanna elbow his ass. I don't want no little boxing, the poofy gloves.

"I wanna elbow, I wanna f***ing hit his face. I wanna almost break his arm and just let him out.

"So if his boy wants to fight me, he's gonna have to come and see me in the cage."
