Jake Paul Claims Floyd Mayweather Jr. 'Tried To Have Him Killed'
| Last updated
Not a day goes by without some sort of wild claims coming from one of the Paul brothers, and today is no different.
Jake Paul alleged this week that Floyd Mayweather Jr. tried to get him killed, 'calling gangsters' to organise a hit on him.
The 24-year-old told the Full Send podcast that the coming together at the press conference ahead of Logan's fight with Money, which sparked after Jake stole Mayweather's hat, left the boxing legend seething and out for revenge.
"And we're like genuinely making this old guy look really stupid and we legitimately hurt his feelings.
"That's what happened, that's why he was so angry - we hurt his feelings, his hair was all f***ed up and we were just making him look stupid in general.
"And no one's ever really gone there and really hurt his feelings."
But while the brothers were just looking to get under Mayweather's skin, Jake claimed he really wanted blood, with the undefeated boxer heard shouting, "I'll kill that motherf****r" at the event.
Jake went on: "He was trying to get me killed behind the scenes for sure. He was calling like the gangsters cause we were in Miami here at the time.
"He was, like, calling the street people because my security is tapped into street people.
"And they were like, 'Yo, you guys gotta be f*****g careful, he's trying to do something'."
And according to Logan, they even increased their security detail following the clash.
He told TMZ Sports: "Floyd's threatened to kill my brother. So we're taking security precautions. [We have security] everywhere at all times, it's more than usual.
"When you have a guy with the resources and the wealth that Floyd Mayweather has, and the connection and the network.
"And he's saying s**t like 'I'm going to kill that motherf****r', you go 'Kill? Death? You're gonna kill my brother over a f**king hat?
"Yeah, we take that s**t seriously man!"
Fresh off the back of his recent split-decision victory over UFC legend Tyron Woodley, Jake Paul has already been called out by Tyson Fury's brother.
Speaking to LADbible, Tommy Fury said that he'll 'definitely' end any fight against Jake Paul with a stoppage, and says it would only take him a matter of rounds, if that.
LADbible has contacted Mayweather's representatives for a comment on the allegations.
