US Radio Host Slammed For 'Sexist' Comments About 17-Year-Old Olympian

A US radio host is in hot water after making inappropriate, sexual remarks about 17-year-old snowboard gold-medallist, Chloe Kim.

Patrick Connor, 40, was co-hosting on Barstool FM's 'Dialled In With Dallas Braiden', when he referred to the underage athlete as a 'hot little piece of ass' live on air.

The comments came after talk turned to Kim's women's halfpipe gold medal success on Tuesday, with the co-host stating that he was counting down the days until she turns 18.

Connor went on to draw parallels between himself and David Wooderson, Matthew McConaughey's character in the film Dazed and Confused.

"Her 18th birthday is April 23 and the countdown is on baby because I got my Wooderson going. 'That's what I like about them high school girls'," he said, quoting the film.

"She's fine as hell!" Connors added while his co-hosts laughed.

"If she was 18, you wouldn't be ashamed to say that she's a little hot piece of ass. And she is. She is adorable. I'm a huge Chloe Kim fan."

Deadspin first reported on the co-host's comments but the radio host's only response to the criticism was a tweet that read: "Deadspin still exists?"

Twitter was unsurprisingly unimpress following the incident, with one user addressing Connor to say: "Wonder what our wife and kids would think about your comments." Another added: "He should be fired immediately!"

Meanwhile a third posted: "With all the excitement re the #OlympicGames2018 & Chloe Kim's phenomenal performance in #snowboarding @pcon34 #PatrickConnor found nothing better to do than make a tasteless, ignorant comment about this MINOR. What is @CroweRadio @KNBR going to do about it? #Sexist #ignorance."

The full transcript of the exchange between Braiden, Connor and comedian Brody Stevens, as reported by Deadspin, read:

Stevens: "Me, personally, I'm on Twitter, I see Chloe Kim, I'm thinking Khloe Kardashian, Kim [Kardashian], I don't want to deal with that. So I missed out on the whole Chloe Kim thing. But it's a good story. She's into it, a little kid-I'm inspired by it."

Braden: "Chloe Kim, famous for riding a very different board than Kim Kardashian."

Connor: "No doubt, and in fact just to keep it on that tip, her 18th birthday is April 23, and the countdown is on baby, 'cause I got my Wooderson going. 'That's what I like about them high school girls.'"

Stevens: "I love it P-Con, I'm right there with you."

Connor: "She's fine as hell! If she was 18, you wouldn't be ashamed to say that she's a little hot piece of ass. And she is. She is adorable. I'm a huge Chloe Kim fan."

Braden [laughing]: "That's it."

Stevens [laughing]: "Did you just take a boner pill?"
