Photos Show Inside England Team’s Post-Match Euro 2020 Party

England's Euro 2020 team had a very well-earned party after making it to the final of this year's competition. You can see some footage of the shindig here:

Although Gareth Southgate's men didn't bring it home, the Three Lions did the country proud making it through to the final for the first time in more than two decades.

Following their defeat to Italy on penalties, the team, alongside their families, let their hair down at a bash in Wembley last night.

Photos shared on social media showed the team reunited with their loved ones after spending six weeks in a covid-safe bubble throughout the competition.

The after party showed the team taking part in a conga-line, while a late night rendition of 'Sweet Caroline' was also belted out.

Jordan Pickford's partner Megan Davison was also filmed singing 'Don't Look Back In Anger' along with Luke Shaw's partner Amelia Johnson and Jack Grealish's girlfriend Sasha Attwood, all in football shirts.

By the looks of things, the party went on late into the night with one person in attendance sharing a time-stamped clip of people still clearly enjoying themselves at 02.43am.

I bet there were some sore heads this morning.

Earlier today, Southgate threw his backing behind his team saying they're all set to 'go again' in the World Cup in Qatar next December.

The manager said: "The younger ones especially, well all of this team, can go again.

"There's no doubt about that, but the young ones are still two, four years from peaking.

"We've got 18, 19, 20 year-olds who have done an incredible job and had a great insight into tournament football and acquitted themselves well throughout.

"There are a huge number of positives from that and those players will be far better for going through so many important wins, so many important landmarks that they've set with historic performances.

"In the main they've performed under huge pressure of being at home for the majority of the tournament, being one of the favourites."

He went on to admit that he needed a rest following the competition but that he was keen to 'build' on the team for the next competition.

"When my logical brain comes back to life in a few days that is the process we have to go through," he said.

"We have got to keep continuing that and England have to keep that track going; whoever is here, whoever is at the FA, whoever is at St George's Park.

"That's what we have to build, that's the vision at the start and we are showing the signs with the help of the clubs who are producing some fantastic young players.

"All of those things have to align because any part of that football pyramid that isn't strong affects the national team.

"At the moment lots of things are starting to come together and we have to continue that."
