You'd imagine being part of the England team would involve a fair few freebies - though they'd normally be perks that you don't even need, as you could just afford to just pay for them yourself out of your absolutely hench salary.

The latest offer for the squad while they're abroad in Russia comes from a strip club right next to their hotel, which is handy for them.

The Mirror reports that the Maxim gentleman's club - which is barely 20 metres from the Radisson hotel where the players are apparently staying in the centre of Kaliningrad - has the England team some freebies.

Manager Eugeniya Sorokina, 28, said: "We have been very much looking forward to greeting the England fans.

"The players are staying so close - they are right across the road.

"If they wanted to come over of course they could get any of our services for free."

Normally, entry to the club is £24 and a beer would set you back £6 a pint.

Sorokina continued: "In June, for our guests, in addition to the beauties of the basic staff, there will be seven guest dancers.

"We have beautiful Lolita from Arkhangelsk, charming Liana from Kemerovo, fiery Roxana from Novosibirsk, bright Stefania from Yaroslavl luxurious Elina from Novosibirsk, sexy Darina from Nizhny Novgorod and incredible Alice from Novosibirsk."

25-year-old exotic dancer Katarina Shtolzsaid: "It's been very busy so far but it will be even more so now England have arrived."

Maxim's description on its website reads: "Topless private, Tequila Body, erotic massage and other exciting surprises are waiting for you behind the scenes of our strip club."

Over by Ronaldo's hotel, meanwhile, things don't sound quite as peachy - as fans have reportedly turning up outside his window making a lot of noise.

Around 50 Iranian fans turned up to the hotel in Saransk, where the Portuguese team are staying, with horns, a drum and vuvuzelas - oh and very loud voices, which they used to chant.

The noisy crowd did manage to get the attention of Ronaldo, who appeared at the window. The Portuguese star was filmed wagging his finger at the fans, like a primary school teacher telling off a rowdy classroom, before putting his hands together under his head - the international sign for 'LADs, please, I'm trying to get some kip'.

If anything, the sight of Ronaldo begging for a bit of sleep spurred the fans on even more, though, and they continued to make a racket.

Sounds like he wants to get himself over to the Radisson, sharpish.
