Tyson Fury Fan Wanting A Photo Ended Up Going On A Jog With Him

A lucky Tyson Fury fan had a 'one in a million' chance meeting with the heavyweight champ, and they ended up going for a jog together.

Logan Murphy, 13, and his dad Lee, 47, were driving through Morecambe on Thursday 19 March after driving from Cumbria to deliver a motorbike.

They were both fans of the champion boxer and knew he lived somewhere in the area after watching his ITV series, and began looking for his house.

They only wanted a photo at his gate. After looking for an hour, they found the house - at the exact moment the Gypsy King himself was walking out.

What are the chances?

And when they asked for a picture, Tyson said he'd do one better and took him out for a jog.

His dad Lee is a massive boxing fan, but Logan says he liked Tyson as a person after watching recent ITV series Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King.

Logan, from Workington, Cumbria, said: "We were just pulling down the road. I couldn't believe it was actually him there.

"We ran for about a hundred yards but I was worried I couldn't keep up cause he was running quite fast.

"It has made my entire year. He's so kind and normal, I think it's always strange meeting famous people but Tyson was just so nice."

He added: "I know he loves music and I love to play so I left him a note asking him if he'd ever want me to play a gig for him."

Logan's dad Lee, a bike shop owner, was equally excited about the lucky encounter as a fan of Tyson Fury himself.

The dad-of-two said: "We had to deliver to Morecambe and we knew Tyson Fury was from there so I thought we could try and find him after we were done.

"We drove around for about an hour looking for the house - as my son watches his TV show and we were hoping to recognise it.

"We just pulled up round a road and recognised the house and we were chuffed - we thought we were going to get a picture outside the gate.

"But then we saw a man walk out - and he was really large - and it was actually Tyson Fury.

"We drove by him and asked for a picture and he said 'I'll do you one better, come on a run with me'.

"It was brilliant. A one in a million chance. Fair play to the big lad, he could have flogged us off but he did something really wonderful."

He added: "Logan was over the moon he wouldn't stop talking about it. It's all he's gone on about for days now."
