It was the fight everyone had been waiting for - the undefeated lightweight champion versus (arguably) UFC's biggest star going head to head in Las Vegas after Conor McGregor's two-year hiatus.

It captured the attention of, well, pretty much every viewer across the world - even Dan Bilzerian managed to tear his attention away from the nine women who he was sharing his bed with for the evening.

The Irishman was forced to tap out late on in the fourth round after Russian arch-rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov, trapped him in one of his trademark choke holds.

No one could have predicted what happened next as Nurmagomedov jumped out of the Octagon to attack some of McGregor's teammates and members of the the Dagestani's camp jumped over the railings in an attempt to get at McGregor.

Two of the men that attacked the Irishman were Zubaira Tukhugov and Islam Makhachev - both UFC athletes.

UFC boss Dana White has now come out and said neither Tukhugov nor Makhachev will ever fight in the UFC again.

In an interview following the fight, White said: "The guys who jumped in will never fight here again.

"I've been working hard to promote this sport, this is not what a mixed martial arts event is normally like."

But, what hasn't been picked up on, until now, is McGregor's actions inside the cage which have been dubbed 'cheating'.

As brutal as it may look, there are rules fighters must abide by when it comes to UFC. These include things such as biting, eye-gouging (of any kind) and putting a finger into any orifice...all sounds fair enough, I'm sure you'll agree.

Within that list there are also four specific rules that McGregor looked to be breaking, which are highlighted in a new video.

They are: striking downward using the point of the elbow, holding the shorts or gloves of an opponent, holding the ropes or the fence and flagrantly disregarding the instructions of the referee.

This YouTube video points each of them out:

Give Me Sport reported that the man in the middle of the pair, referee Herb Dean, didn't warn McGregor most of the time.

People have since reacted to the video. One said: "Khabib was up against Conner, the referee, the crowd, the commentators and the media."

Another added: "The UFC wanted the spectacle, they wanted the controversy, the drama. Well they got exactly what they wanted except it wasn't there golden boy Mctapper it was Khabib and they didn't like that hahaha.

"What happened at the end ruined nothing of his legacy and only made his fans love him even more. Khabib don't take no shit, congratulations to the eagle."
