WWE fans have been raving about last night's Wrestlemania, with many left amazed by The Undertaker and AJ Styles' Boneyard Match.

The main event of WrestleMania 36 Night One took fans by surprise on Saturday. Instead of taking place inside the WWE Performance Center, the match saw the two battling on a closed set that had an open grave set up, as well as an abandoned farmhouse.

For one thing, Undertaker showed up in his American Bad Ass gear, pleasing nostalgic fans who remembered the veteran wrestler's turn-of-the-century guise,

But his brawl with Styles took on more of a horror movie vibe, with unexpected appearances from Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows and a load of hooded druids.

The pair fought around the farm with seemingly not one inch of the set off-limits - Undertaker launched Gallows off the roof, took out Anderson with a Piledrive and ultimately choke-slammed Styles onto a pile of wood below.

In a dramatic conclusion, Undertaker threw Styles into the open grave, pushing a pile of dirt over his opponent to finish things off.

And it seems that fans and wrestlers alike were in awe at the theatrics of the whole performance, with many taking to Twitter to show their appreciation.

As with many sporting events, WWE has had to make some major changes in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, and viewers were largely blown away by the way the franchise staged the main event in response.

However, one clip of wrestlers trash-talking in front of an empty arena left viewers unimpressed.

Not ideal.
