The price of said product hasn't, as yet, been revealed, but is expected to be 'a few thousand British pounds'. Which, given how much bog-standard Nintendo Switches have been fetching during quarantine these past few months isn't, perhaps, quite as much as it could be.
As reported by Metro, there was a solid gold edition of the PS4 released in Dubai six years, which was being sold for a mouth-watering £8,400 ($10,600). Since this PS5 is only gold-plated, it should be significantly cheaper.

It's uncertain how much involvement with the product Sony is going to have - it doesn't look like much at all, if any - but Truly Exquisite seems particularly excited about the new product.
