Every year, the CES show at the Las Vegas Convention Centre opens eyes and boggles minds by showcasing the capabilities of cutting edge technologies.

ShadeCraft has displayed a new device at the show that lets you control garden parasols using Alexa, but who gives a shit about that when there's voice controlled vibrators just around the corner?

The breakthrough comes courtesy of OhMiBod, who have been showing off the new OhMiBod Remote app at the convention.

The app allows you to control your OhMiBod vibrator (assuming you have one) remotely, adjusting speed, intensity and the pattern of pulses.

The app can be used on a smartphone or on an Apple Smart Watch - no doubt Bond's preferred choice.

Indeed, the watch version comes with extra benefits, namely 'pulse' mode. The setting uses the watch's heart rate sensor to synchronise the pulses of the vibrator with your heart beat. Now I have no idea whether this leads to added arousal, but it certainly sounds intense.

According to The Sun, Suki Dunham, OhMiBod's founder, said: "Smart watches like the new Apple Watch series have evolved into legitimate wellness devices with fantastic biofeedback performance.

"It is the perfect time for OhMiBod to launch its first true biofeedback-driven functionality."

But perhaps more exciting still, is the systems Bluetooth capability. This means that soon, randy gadget users will be able to control their vibrators hands free, using Alexa; to clarify, she will only change settings and stuff like that... so you will need to use your hands a bit.

You can't help but feel a little sorry for the Amazon Echo's digital assistant though. To begin with she was just telling you the weather forecast and putting some tunes on, now we're barking horny wank orders at the poor woman: "ALEXA, QUICKER! ALEEEEXAAA, UP THE INTENSITY!"

There's also a mode on the app called 'club vibe', which synchronises vibrations with music of your choice. So if you're feeling like a mellow sesh, 'Alexa, Lighthouse Family 'Lifted', please'. Or if you're feeling like a mad one, 'ALEXA, SCOOTER, 'FASTER HARDER SCOOTER' NOOOW!'

Suki added: "Users will be able to set intensity levels, change patterns, and set the mood through music.

"But most importantly, Alexa's hands-free functionality helps ensure that all participants can focus on intimacy and enjoyment - without distraction."

The bluetooth capability of the app also means that other devices can control the vibrator... so just be careful who you pair with.
