The Latest iPhone Leak Suggests Changes To The Home Button

The phone is out next month, but the rumours about what it will be like have been going on for months.

It's time for you daily iPhone 7 rumour and today's one is all about the 'home' button.

The new phone isn't released until next month but that hasn't stopped the rumours and hype, which are becoming as big a part of Apple's releases as the actual products.

So far we've had unconfirmed reports of dual cameras; no headphone jack; and a new, larger iPhone, called the Pro. Apparently the new phone model will look similar to the 6s.

Now, Bloomberg reports that there will be changes to the 'home' button. Currently the home button is a physical button that you have to press in order to use, like a bloody caveman or something. That's not good enough for the new models, oh no, they're going to be fitted with a pressure-sensitive button that 'provides feedback to the user via a vibrating haptic sensation' instead of an actual, physical click.

If you have one of the newer model MacBooks, you'll be familiar with the button, because it's similar to the trackpads. As ever, Apple has refused to comment on these latest rumours.

Make sure you come back tomorrow to find out what the next rumour is. A battery life that lasts longer than 18 minutes is top of my wish-list.
