As Christmas looms, many of us are desperately trawling the internet for some last minute gifts for our loved ones.
But while some of you might be tempted to settle for some celebrity’s autobiography or a jigsaw puzzle of a quaint landscape, others are opting for a ‘Serial Killer Colouring Calendar’ aimed at true crime fans.
Costing £8.99, the calendar has been created by LA-based illustrator Alison Loomis, who released the product last month - one version with 12 months, another with 16.
Designs inside include notorious serial killers like Fred and Rose West, Myra Hindley and Peter Sutcliffe, with the 16-month calendar also listing other names including Jeffrey Dahmer, Richard Ramirez, Aileen Wuornos.
Billed as a ‘very unique colouring calendar’, the item’s description online on Amazon reads: “This 2022 UK Serial Killer Calendar features 12 months of beautifully detailed UK serial killer illustrations to colour and display.
"It features Myra Hindley, Peter Sutcliffe, Fred and Rose West, and many more! It's printed on high quality paper for the absolute best colouring experience.
“This calendar will look great pinned to any wall to display your creativity!
“Makes a great gift for a True Crime Lover or Serial Killer Fanatic!”
But while the calendar already has one five-star review from a happy customer, not everyone’s quite so enamoured by the concept.
Tweeting about the product, one person wrote: “Are you kidding me? Nah come on pay respect to the murder victims and take this trash down. If anyone agrees pls RT.”
Also responding on Twitter, another person simply said: “WTF!”
A third added: "CRAY-CRAY."
LADbible has contacted Amazon for a comment.
If it's not serial killers you're after, you could go for the Super Gingers 2022 Calendar, which has gone on sale after a callout for ginger male models earlier this year.
Red Hot is a movement from photographer Thomas Knights, which aims to change the landscape for redheads through 'a series of art books, calendars and photographic exhibitions'.
He said: "In society and somewhat within the ginger community, there has always been a bit of a hierarchy.
"Boys born with neon orange hair were classed as the unfortunates. If a child was born with auburn hair, like myself, people would say in a backhanded compliment 'at least he doesn't have that bright orange hair'."
