Gogglebox Viewers Baffled As Pete Sandiford Reveals Decade-Old Underwear

But they all got more than they bargained for recently when Pete showed off the threadbare trunks he's been sporting since he was 15.

Pulling down his pants, the 26-year-old revealed the tight blue Calvin Kleins he couldn't bear to part with.

"I daren't part with them, I'd had them since I was 15," said Pete.

Sophie, 24, then asked: "My first question is - how have you got a fiancée?"

Admitting that the pants had clearly been an issue in the past, he replied: "She's been asking me to bin them for the whole time I've know her. No - I've got a couple of years left in them."

And it wasn't just Sophie and Pete's fiancée Paige Yeomans who were perturbed by the questionable undergarments, viewers were also baffled.

Writing on Twitter, one fan joked: "You know when you get married those bad Bois will disappear, your wife will 'accidentally' bin them lol."

Another chimed in: "I see nothing wrong here, I'm in agreement with @Petesandiford, run them into the ground, get your money's worth."

A third said: "I dread to see what the front looks like!"

While another added: "Haha, underpants are like new shoes, once you've broken them in, you just have to keep wearing them."

Aside from dishing up classic comedic moments like this, the stars of Gogglebox also offer viewers an insight into their favourite shows.

For example, the show on everyone's minds right now is Line of Duty.

And we've all been left scratching our heads trying to work out what in (mother of) God's name is going on.

Jenny Newby, who sits alongside best pal Lee Riley on the hit Channel 4 show, had viewers intrigued after she whipped out her special LOD notepad when the police drama came back to our screens last month.
