Gogglebox's Lee Riley is one of the many joining in with the daily Joe Wicks workouts, designed to keep the nation moving whilst on lockdown due to coronavirus.

Whilst many have found the workouts harder than expected, Gogglebox's Lee had an embarrassing mishap whilst performing squats in front of best friend Jenny Newby.

Lee and his best mate and Gogglebox partner Jenny were seen watching fitness guru Joe Wicks on The Andrew Marr Show talking about the success of his YouTube PE lessons, before hosting a live demonstration.

Feeling inspired, Lee jumped up to try out some of Joe's moves, but was caught by surprise when he ripped his jeans before finishing the squat move.

As Lee fell to the floor laughing, Jenny laughed: "I thought you'd farted!"

Gogglebox viewers raised questions recently over Lee and Jenny still filming together but seeming to ignore social distancing rules, however last week Lee revealed that he has actually moved in with Jenny in her caravan so they can continue filming together.

Friday night's episode also saw some different faces in place of the regular sofa cast viewers normally see, as a result of the measures put in place due to the covid-19 outbreak.

Leeds based Izzi Warner was replaced by her sister Ellie's boyfriend Nat, while Sid Siddiqui did not appear alongside his sons for a second week in a row.

Producer of Gogglebox Tania Alexander also revealed how tough it has been to maintain creating the popular Friday night show, since the new measures for social distancing were implemented.

Narrator Craig Cash has been recording his voiceovers at home in a makeshift studio, featuring pillows to act as noise insulation.

She later said: "It ain't easy making this at the mo but worth it to hear that you all enjoyed it."

The show's makers recently announced that they had taken measures to allow 'the families to take part without any contact from crew' with their homes fitted with remote cameras.

Gogglebox continues next Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
