I'm a Celebrity viewers were confused last night by Naughty Boy's reaction to having been chosen for a task.

The music producer, real name is Shahid Khan, became quite upset after the opposing team picked him to take on a challenge after having already failed at one earlier in the day.

Since arriving in Wales, the 36-year-old has been living in the 'clink' with fellow campmates David Ginola and Richard Madeley, while the other team have enjoyed more comfortable surroundings in the main camp.

And after discovering he had been chosen by them, Naughty Boy said, "There's no love there" and threatened to quit the show.

He told his team: "I do think my time here is done.

"I had a feeling earlier and I was thinking about mum and obviously I love you guys.

"I don't think after knowing what the Main Camp probably knew what they were putting me through knowing I did the challenge earlier."

Adding: "I don't know if I could ever join that camp."

His reaction confused some viewers watching at home, who felt he had overreacted slightly.

One fan wrote: "Very strange behaviour from Naughty Boy last night, he was like a wee boy."

Echoing the sentiment, another chimed in: "I'm so confused to why naughty boy is SO upset."

"I get really confused as to why people like Naughty Boy go on #ImACeleb when they clearly don't wanna do anything or participate?" put a third.

While another added: "Naughty Boy is going to drive himself insane overthinking why they picked him and having a strop."

However, others had some sympathy for the DJ.

"I've got to be honest, I'm not comfortable with the reaction to Naughty Boy on here," said one.

"To me, it appears like he has some deep rooted issues with himself and may not be mentally prepared to deal with the show and the failure.

"In a world where so many say to 'be kind' and so much focus on mental health and changing the stigma around men and depression/anxiety, the reaction and comments towards Naughty Boy are disappointing to say the least."

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is on ITV at 9pm tonight.
