In a TikTok video, Lizzo shared her excitement at the news of the remake.

Using the "What are we talking about?" sound, the musician shows an article, which has a photo of Kevin Costner and Houston.

She then shows a pic of a tweet one of her fans shared, which proposes the idea of Lizzo and Evans starring in the new film.

And it looks like she's not the only one who thinks it's a genius idea.

Commenting on the post, one fan said: "Lizzo and Chris are the only acceptable choices. FACT."

Echoing the support, another chimed in: "I went from 'please God no' to 'lord I am begging you' REAL QUICK."

"I would relive 2020 for this to happen," put a third.

While another added: "I'd pay so much money for that film."

But this isn't the first time Lizzo has hit the headlines regarding her crush on the Hollywood star.

She then went on to add: "We have plans, well - we don't have plans but he did say he will come to a show, and I was like, okay, shots on me. And he said, 'no shots on me'.

"So, here's my scenario, he's naked in the green room. And he has body shots all on his chest. And I walk in, and I slowly just suck them off."
