Nicolas Cage Has Done A Jiu Jitsu Vs Aliens Movie And It Looks Amazing
Nicolas Cage's new movie is here and it's about as Nicolas Cage as you can get.
Jiu Jitsu sees the 56-year-old plays the leader of an ancient society of martial artists, who vow to protect Earth from an army of evil aliens. OK.
The official synopsis for the movie says: "An ancient order of Jiu Jitsu fighters faces a vicious race of alien invaders in an epic battle for the survival of Earth.
"When Jake Barnes, a master Jiu Jitsu fighter, refuses to face Brax, an indomitable alien creature, the future of humanity hangs in the balance. Injured and suffering from severe amnesia, Jake is captured by a military squad unequipped to fight the merciless intruder who has descended upon the planet.
"Jake is rescued by Wylie, and an ancient order of Jiu Jitsu fighters who must help him recover his memory and regain his strength in order to band together and defeat Brax in an epic battle that will determine the fate of mankind."
The bonkers movie also sees Thai action legend Tony Jaa, perhaps most famous for the Ong Bak series, and Frank Grillo, of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, star alongside Cage.

The film was also directed by Dimitri Logothetis (Kickboxer: Retaliation).
And while there's no news yet on a UK release date, Jiu Jitsu is set to land in US cinemas, On-Demand, and Digital on 20 November, 2020.
But if that wasn't enough Cage excitement, there's more.
It was recently announced that The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, a meta action comedy where Cage plays a version of himself, is set to be released on 19 March 2021.
According to reports, the synopsis says: "Creatively unfulfilled and facing financial ruin, an alternative world Cage is forced to accept $1 million to attend the birthday of a super fan.
"When things take a wildly dangerous turn, Cage is forced to live up to his own legend, channeling his most iconic and beloved on-screen characters in order to save himself and his loved ones."
The bizarre movie is being directed by Tom Gormican, who has co-written it with Kevin Etten.
It will also star Lily Sheen as Cage's daughter and has been produced by Kevin Turen, Kristin Burr, and Mike Nilon, with Lionsgate backing it.
