Piers Morgan has blasted Liz Hurley after posting a 'creepy' topless photo which he claimed was taken by her 18-year-old son.

Hurley has since clarified the picture was taken by her 80-year-old mother.

Discussing the photo on Good Morning Britain, the 55-year-old Morgan said Liz was in her 50s and that she should get some clothes on.

He said: "Yeah, she looks fabulous, but what are you doing Liz? A bit of snow and you get your kit off.

"And who took the pictures? Your 19-year-old son, you said, took the pictures? Isn't that a bit creepy?

"What is all this! It's what we call in the business 'thirsty and a bit creepy'."

Piers didn't like Liz's photo.

But not one to let him get away with things, co-host Susanna Reid said it was a bit hypocritical.

She said: "You can't accuse other people of being thirsty when you're on national television and you have at least two columns and you're on every single podcast."

But Piers interrupted, telling her she had misunderstood the word 'thirsty'.

"It means thirsty of attention!" Susanna hit back.

To which Piers retorted: "No, no, no. They're thirsty for me!

"You can think two things when you look at it - one, she looks great. Which she does. But also, 55? Getting your 19-year-old son to take pictures of you stripping off in the snow?"

The presenter branded the snap 'creepy'.

Susanna continued to back Liz, though, saying she can do what she wants with her body.

She said: "Sorry. After women go over 50 are they not allowed to bare any flesh? That's what happened to Davina McCall! She got trolled."

But always one to have the last word, Piers snapped: "No, Davina didn't do this. Come on, you can think she looks great but come on! You're 55 - put your clothes on."

Responding to the criticism, Hurley has since clarified: "Far be it for me to suggest the tabloids get their facts muddled, but these pics were in fact taken by my 80 year old mother. Not entirely sure if that puts minds at rest or not."

And, you will not be surprised to read, that this is not the first time Piers has branded something or someone 'creepy' this week.

Yesterday (25 January), the journalist poked fun at Brooklyn Beckham's 'creepy' tattoo of his fiancée Nicola Peltz.

The host didn't hold back after seeing a photo the 21-year-old posted to his Instagram account, showing a pair of eyes inked across the back of his neck.

The snap, captioned 'Love Letters', also shows a romantic passage, presumably written by Peltz, below the eyeballs.

But it's fair to say that Piers wasn't enamoured of it.

Piers said: "It's his fifth permanent tribute he's made to his American actress fiancée Nicola Peltz. It shows her eyes and a load of guff he's written.

"Imagine if they break up, he'd have to get someone else's eyes. There'll be a lot of eyes on that back by the time he's older."
