The Trailer Has Dropped For Midnight Mass

The teaser trailer for Midnight Mass has finally dropped. Check it out below:

From the creators of Haunting of Hill House, the eerie series is set to be released on 24 September and promises to be another hit.

Creator Mike Flanagan has kept extremely tight-lipped about the new series but released a letter along with the trailer today saying it's his favourite project so far.

He said: "I'm just going to admit it... 'Midnight Mass' is my favorite project so far.

"As a former altar boy, about to celebrate 3 years of sobriety, it's not had to see what makes this so personal. The ideas at the root of this show scare me to my core."

A brief synopsis was also shared last year.

According to Comic Book: "Midnight Mass follows an isolated island community that experiences miraculous events - and frightening omens - after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest."

News of the series left fans of Hill House wondering if there were any plans to carry their stories on.

Sadly, however, Flanagan revealed that there weren't.

He told one fan: "No plans for a new HAUNTING series... "
