Supermarkets have sat up and listened to noise complaints when it comes to bonfire night. Last week, Sainsbury's stopped selling fireworks altogether in its 2,300 stores. Now, ASDA has opted to launch a special range of fireworks that don't have any screeches or bangs - peace and quiet with the same viewing pleasure.
They are selling a box of TNT Rainbow Low Noise Selection Box Fireworks containing 12 different low noise bangers (without the bang), meaning you can put on a whole display without worrying about causing any disruption to animals or neighbours.
They will be available in 500 select ASDA stores across the UK from now and are selling for £10 ($12). But if you're after more then why not pick up the TNT Quiet Storm Low Noise Multi-Shot fireworks. They come in a pack of 18 and will set you back £20 ($25).

ASDA isn't the only supermarket to offer fireworks of the low noise variety. Morrisons is also stocking low noise fireworks in its stores too.
Offering Sparkling Gem Low Noise Fountain four pack for £6 ($7.50) and a Twinkle Low Noise Fountain two pack for £15 ($19), there's plenty of animal friendly products available across the majority of their 430 stores over Bonfire night and the festive season.
Plus, Tesco has jumped on board as well, offering lower noise fireworks in all Extra and Superstores across the UK.
The Fantasia Rock pack (£6 or three for £15) and the Box of Tricks selection box (£6 or three for £15) are both under 100 decibels, making them a far cry from the legal noise limit of 120 decibels, but a little way from a silent option.

Sainsbury's on the other hand don't need to worry about decibels because they've sacked fireworks off altogether.
The ban has been widely praised on social media, with many calling for other supermarkets to follow suit.

A Sainsbury's spokesperson told LADbible: "Fireworks are no longer available in our stores, but customers can continue to choose from a range of seasonal products, such as glow sticks and light up spinning wands."
The move has also been welcomed by Dogs Trust, which told LADbible: "We congratulate Sainsbury's on their decision not to sell fireworks this year and would encourage others to do the same.
"Although they can look beautiful, fireworks can be very distressing for dogs when let off unexpectedly, and because they are so easily accessible all year-round, dog owners are on tenterhooks as to when their beloved pooch will next be frightened.
"A survey found over half of the British public think fireworks should be limited to public displays only. To reduce the distress caused to dogs we would like their use restricted to licensed public displays at certain times of the year or organised events, which are well publicised.

"This will enable owners to take steps to prepare their dogs ahead of any fireworks events. Good for the dogs and good for firework fans!"
