The bikini model who appeared on This Morning to say her good looks were stopping her from finding love has hit back at trolls who criticised her, saying they won't 'spoil her day'.

Jenna Thompson, 36, says she received a bunch of abusive messages following her TV appearance where she told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield that she was too good looking to find a decent partner.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Jenna said: "It's nothing that's going to spoil my day. I'm going to speak my mind. I'm not going to introvert myself just because people don't like the way I talk about stuff.

"I knew it would be controversial. I was mentally prepared there was always going to be backlash, but I don't read everything or get upset by anything."

Mum-of-two Jenna, from Essex, appeared on This Morning on a segment titled 'I'm too good looking to find love', which seems like a nice problem to have, if you ask me.

On the show, she said she could only attract people who were 'after one thing', which she put down to her good looks.

"I am too good-looking to date - I intimidate nice guys," she said.

"I seem to attract guys who are only after one thing. People who think they'll have a go and just want hook-ups. No one is looking for anyone that serious."

When Holly suggested she 'tone-down' her image, Jenna replied: "Thing is, if you change yourself, you're never going to be truly happy, are you?"

"How long can you wear a mask before it starts to slip?

"You're not going to be authentic to the person you're dating. Why change the way I look just to fit into a category for the sort of person I'm looking for? Maybe I haven't met that type of person yet."

Jenna, who has more than 29,000 followers on Instagram, seemed to ruffle a few feathers by being on the show, but despite being criticised on social media, she doesn't appear to be too bothered.

"I don't love myself, I'm just confident - and people don't like that," she said.

"Ninety-five per cent of the nasty messages I received were from men. I think their egos were bruised. I don't know why as they don't know me.

"They said things like, 'you're not all that anyway' or 'how can you have such a shallow personality'. I've got quite the opposite of a shallow personality."
