Someone out there is about to dscover they've won a life-changing amount of money, with a ticket-holder from the UK confirmed to have won last night's £105 million EuroMillions jackpot.

Although the lucky winner hasn't come forward yet, the newly-minted multimillionaire will have won the astonishing prize on the 25th anniversary of the first National Lottery draw.

Check your tickets, lads.

In case you've not checked your ticket yet, the winning numbers were 08, 10, 15, 30 and 42, and the Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 06 - if you find out you've won via reading this article, a finder's fee would be appreciated, thanks.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at the National Lottery, said: "On our 25th birthday, one very lucky ticket-holder has scooped tonight's entire £105 million EuroMillions jackpot.

"Players across the country are now urged to check their tickets to see if they have won big.

"Tonight's big winner has scooped the sixth EuroMillions jackpot banked in the UK this year."

The UK is definitely having a run of good luck lately. Another person also became a millionaire by matching the Millionaire Maker code ZMSF62402.

Meanwhile, back in October, someone from the UK won £170m on the EuroMillions, making them the UK's biggest ever winner. That beat the previous record held by a couple from Scotland, who made the highest ever UK win with £161m as far back as 2011.

In June this year, another UK ticket-holder won £123m, while in April, someone bagged £38m.

Continuing the UK's lucky streak across 2019, Ade Goodchild from Hereford won £71m in March, while a couple from Northern Ireland won £114.9m on New Year's Day.

And if all of this wasn't lucky enough, just last week a mum-of-three discovered that she'd just won £1m on the EuroMillions lottery only 10 minutes after opening a letter telling her she'd beaten breast cancer.

Lynne had a much needed run of good luck.

Overall, not a bad few minutes, you'd have to say.

South Wales laundry worker Lynne Price, 55, was at her home in New Tredegar when she opened a letter informing her that her breast cancer scan results were clear. Just a few minutes later her husband David rushed in through the door to tell her they'd scooped a million quid on the lottery.

Speaking to The Sun, she explained: "I can't tell you what I said, it's too rude, but I was in total shock.

"I was shaking and totally lost for words which never happens.

"I went and had a bath for two hours and just lay there trying to take it all in."

Well, that's one way to celebrate Lynne.
