A man dubbed as 'Britain's most lavish dad' has revealed he bought his daughter a £200,000 motor after she wrote off two cars worth a colossal £250,000... in just one month.
Multi-millionaire Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, 51, is known for splashing the cash when it comes to his family, but says he couldn't care less what people think of him and his kids.
One of his biggest outgoings is his daughter Saffron, who he says enjoys the finer things in life, whether it's travelling by private jet, wearing expensive designer labels, or staying in the most expensive hotels in the world.
But the 22-year-old hasn't been that lucky when it comes to her ever-growing car collection, writing off two swanky motors in the space of a few weeks.
Barrie told Truly: "When you talk about living a bling life, it's not just about driving a nice car and living in a nice house. It's the hundreds of thousands on private jets, villas in Ibiza, but the most expensive single thing within our family is Saffron.
"Saffron has this tendency of wanting the best of everything. And so, because of that, you know, she's had lots of different cars over the last couple of years.
"She has had two cars written off in the past month. I bought this car for Saffron, and the minute she saw it she hated it - she said it was an 'old lady's car'."
Barrie and his ex-husband Tony Drewitt-Barlow, 56, were the first gay men to father children through surrogacy in the UK, and are proud fathers to 22-year-old Saffron and Aspen.
They went on to have son Orlando, 17, and twin boys Jasper and Dallas, 10, before last year Barrie welcomed baby Valentina with his new partner Scott Hutchinson, 27 - who is also Saffron's ex-boyfriend.
And it's not just Saffron who enjoys her dad's wealth, her six other siblings don't do too badly either.
Earlier this year, Barrie revealed that he gave his kids unlimited credit cards, with one even receiving a £500,000 ($700,000) ring when they were just a baby.
Speaking to The Sun, he said: "People accuse me of spoiling my kids and they're right, I have been splashing the cash since the moment they were born and I have no plans on stopping any time soon.
"I first started lavishing my eldest, twins Saffron and Aspen, 22, from day dot as I felt I needed to make up for the fact they don't have a mother in their lives.
"The moment Saffron was born I gave her a diamond and ruby ring owned by Wallis Simpson that was worth $700,000 (£500,000)."
Barrie continued: "People call my kids spoilt but quite frankly, any criticism is like water off a duck's back now - I couldn't give a flying fig what anyone thinks of my parenting skills.
"I don't like to blow my own trumpet, but I know we have been better parents than a lot of straight people!"
And he said the 'sky's the limit' when it comes to treating his children, adding 'quite literally'.
Barrie explained: "Just this week Saffron flew to Las Vegas with her friends and she thought nothing of putting the $165,000 (£120,000) private jet cost on my AMEX - she really is a daddy's girl.
"That might seem extravagant but for Saffron and any of my other kids, it's just their way of life.
