A dad was in hysterics after realising where a delivery driver had left a very large item, which he'd been instructed to leave 'under the doormat'. Watch the clip below:
TikTok user Glenn Jones, who posts content under the handle of @showbizjones, shared a video captioned: "Sorry they missed me!"

The clip begins with a close-up of the 'Sorry I missed you when I came to deliver your parcel' card, which states the package has been left under Jones' doormat.
Jones, who lives in Peterborough, then walks through his hallway and opens the front door, revealing a huge cardboard box outside his home - with the doormat precariously placed on top.
Jones later uploaded a follow-up video to give a little more detail about 'what really happened' with 'ParcelGate'.

It turned out the delivery driver had turned up at the house when Jones was upstairs, claiming his daughter shouted up to let him know someone was at the door.
He replied to say he'd be down 'in a second', but as he was taking too long to answer, the Yodel worker began to write the note.
Keen not to miss the delivery, Jones said he opened the window and shouted down to the driver to ask them to leave 'whatever it is' under the doormat - clearly unaware how large the package was.
The delivery worker obliged, much to the humour of the parcel's intended recipient.

"Delivery guy still posts the card and does what I've told him to do," Jones writes in the video.
"And that's what's really happened."
The original video has racked up more than 1.8 million views on the platform, with many people commenting to say how funny they found the scenario - and Jones' laugh.
One person wrote: "That is the most discreet place I have ever seen. Hahahaha very funny."
Jones replied, joking that he 'never did find it'.

Someone else said: "Not seeing the issue here... That's well hidden! A* to that delivery driver."
A third added: "[At] least they weren't lying to you, they literally told you the truth. I'd be howling though."
Later into the comments, Jones admitted he had 'slightly exaggerated' the set-up for TikTok, as explained in his second video.
But people still seemed to find it highly amusing, with another TikTok user commenting: "That's the best thing I've ever seen!"
