If you always liked the look of Dom and Steph Parker's massive manor house on Gogglebox, then good news - they're selling up.

The bad news, though, is they won't accept your offer if it ain't in the region of £5 million ($6.37m).

The couple - who appeared on the Channel 4 show from 2013 to 2016 - first bought the Grade I-listed boutique hotel The Salutation in 2004 for £2.6m ($3.32m).

Since then they have spent a further £2.5m ($3.19m) renovating the property in Sandwich, Kent, which was designed by Sir Edward Lutyens and built in 1912, spanning 3.7 acres and boasting a frankly unnecessary 17 bedrooms.

Indeed, it is the vastness of the place which has prompted the couple to sell up their beloved home.

According to The Mirror, 55-year-old Dom said: "We're looking for £5m for the purchase price. We ideally want to sell the building.

"It has been our lives, our home, our joy - our stage for Gogglebox. It is a very important part of the past 14 years of our lives, and it is such a beautiful building.

"But we are just too old and exhausted, and don't have the energy to run it any more."

If you could do with 17 bedrooms, then look no further.

As well as acquiring a boatload of bedrooms, the buyer will also obtain the building's 60-cover fine dining restaurant and its gardens, which won gold at the Chelsea Flower Show last year.

Dom said: "It is crying out for someone to get on board and love it as we have.

"We have personally invested millions into the gardens, and to achieve gold at Chelsea last year was incredible.

"The staff have absolutely worked tirelessly on restoring the gardens, but it will be lost if they are neglected. It would be a crying shame to see that go to pot.

"It's a fabulous building. All somebody needs to do is turn up and turn it on - it's all sitting ready to go."

The couple are selling the property privately and have already received 10 enquiries, so you may want to offer up your £5m sharpish if you're to have a chance of securing the 17-bedroom home of Channel 4 fame.
