The biggest problem with social media is not the fact sites take your information and use it to manipulate you, neither is it the fact that they have created a world with people constantly glued to their phones.

It is that they are just full of people trying to sell you their old tat; 'old mattress, £40, good condition, only a few stains, must pick up'.

'Pair of boxers, worn once, £4 or nearest offer'.

No thanks, I'll pass.

It's not even that they're are selling stuff, really, it's the sheer lack of creativity in their posts, they just take a quick snap and post it, waiting for the offers to roll in - it's so arrogant.

Well one man had a 'eureka' moment when he took to Twitter to try and 'sell' his mirror.

In the hilarious post, Harry Bartlett used the power of social media to show his followers - as well as any prospective buyers - the quality of the product.

The 21-year-old said he didn't expect his 'advert' to get as much attention as it has.

The 21-year-old wrote: "Mirror for sale. Used a few times. Message me for more information. Open to offers."

The tweet was accompanied by a series of pictures of Harry leaping through the air while striking different poses.

Within a matter of hours his post went viral, with over 10,000 people sharing the candid snaps and 69,000 liking the post.

Speaking to LADbible he said: "I've done them a few times and just sent to my friends over Snapchat but I thought I'd share them with twitter

"I only thought I'd get a few retweets from my friends, to be honest, I didn't expect it to blow up how it did."

Harry has been praised by some for managing to take such clear photos while leaping through the air.

"I've received quite a few messages but don't think many people are taking it serious, not had an offer yet."

But he admitted with the amount of attention his joke post has received, he may have to take the advert down.

Harry said: "The only thing is it's a big mirror would cost a lot for shipping. May have to withdraw from the offer.

"It all happened in the space of 24 hours. I went out on the night at around 9pm with around 400 retweets and by the time I got home I hit around 8,000 likes - it just kept growing from there. By the time 24 hours came around I had something like 50k likes."

The hilarious post has received hundreds of comments overt he past two days.

Harry says he has managed to stay grounded despite his newfound fame.

One person wrote: "Don't know if you know but the last photo is actually an Irish dance step and I think you might be a natural."

A second user said: "How did he get the photos so prefect and unblurry?"

While another added: "Remember me when you're famous."

But Harry says he's not letting his newfound fame go to his head and has managed to keep his feet on the ground, so far.

A welder by trade, he added: "I'm just continuing my normal life. Staying humble and all that."
