Has Someone Spotted The Loch Ness Monster?

Has Someone Spotted The Loch Ness Monster?

Pretty fair to say, probably not.

The myth of the Loch Ness monster has captivated people for generations. And when I say people, I mean tourists. Gullible, slightly foolish tourists. There's never been any conclusive evidence the fella exists. Until now?

According to The Mirror, Tony Bligh was visiting the loch in the Scottish Highlands for the first time on Wednesday June 1, when something 'unusual' on the water caught his eye.

That 'unusual' thing was basically a few waves. Is it 100% proof that Nessie is alive and well? Probably not, to be honest.

Apparently the 'humps' (waves) appeared to be around six feet apart and there were about four or five of them.

He told the Inverness Courier: "It was quite long. The humps were consistently the same length apart. I don't know what it was. It was very unusual".

Mr. Bligh also noted that a boat was about 400 yards away from the humps.

A more sane person explained that the humps were probably just wash created from the boat.

"It is a particularly good example of the effect that a reasonably high boat wake can make", Adrian Shine said. Adrian works at the Loch Ness Project, which gathers scientific information on the loch's ecology and the potential for a monster.

"It shows how powerful this illusion could be. It produces a line of very solid looking humps".

Still, tourism in the area should increase over the coming months now.
