You Can Claim A Free Chippy Tea On National Fish And Chips Day

It's on a Friday - you know the rules...

You may or may not (most likely not) know this already, but tomorrow is National Fish and Chips Day.

Sure, it's not exactly Christmas, but it's still pretty exciting. Everyone loves fish and chips, right?

Well, what if you heard that you could lay your hands on some free chips tomorrow, then? You'd probably just explode with excitement just there and then, wouldn't you?

That's exactly what could happen if you sign up to thrifty money saver website TopCashback in time for tomorrow's festivities.

TopCashback will give you £5 cashback if you buy a portion of fish and chips from your local chippy tomorrow.

Oh, it doesn't end there. In fact, you've got longer than just National Fish and Chips Day to celebrate. You've got from Thursday 6 June until Sunday 16 June to enjoy your free chippy tea.

Either that, or until 5,000 cashbacks have been redeemed. That means you've probably got to move pretty quickly on this one.

Here's how to go about it.

First off - and this might seem obvious - you have to head on over to TopCashback and sign up for free through their website.

Secondly - and this is potentially even more obvious - you've got to go down to your favourite chippy, wherever that may be, and buy yourself some fish and chips. Remember, they'll give you £5 back, but that is also the minimum spend amount.

Lucky for you if a fish supper is exactly £5 then, but it is still better than a kick in the teeth, for sure.

You then just head back to TopCashback's page or app and submit your receipt to them - oh, remember to get a receipt - making sure that you've got the date and time of purchase as well as the price of the item you want the cashback for.

Once you've successfully done that, within 30 working days the cashback will be deposited into your account, ready for you to collect.

That doesn't sound too taxing, right?

Obviously, fish and chips isn't for everyone, but there are other things that you can buy instead of just the traditional Friday teatime classic.

If you don't fancy fish you can also get some nuggets, or a battered haggis (the real connoisseur's choice) or whatever basically. As long as you've kept the receipt and fulfilled all of the instructions correctly, you'll get your fiver back.

How I wish it could be National Fish and Chips Day every day.
