Cast your minds back to any hot day where you've got a phone call from your mate asking whether you 'fancy a beer garden bev'. Maybe you're not feeling a pint and you're thirsty for something fruity. Kopparberg answers your prayers each and every time.

Well, now the cider manufacturer has announced their plans to release a new cherry flavour.

The new Kopparberg Cherry.

This February the new variant of the fan-fave will launch and it's said to be 'perfect for cider lovers' because the 'refreshing new serve combines traditional apple cider flavours with a hint of sweet cherry'.

The beverage will be available to buy from Tesco on 3 February 2020, ASDA on 2 March, Sainsbury's 8 March and Morrisons on 30 March.

Almost reading our minds, a press release explained that Kopparberg Cherry is 'the perfect tipple for alfresco drinking'. They say it's best served over ice and it's a great choice to take drinkers from daytime into the evening, indoors or out (if it warms up soon).

It's safe to say fans of the fruity cider are pretty chuffed about the news. One said: "Kopparberg are launching a CHERRY flavour cider, F*** YES," another added: "abooooooooooot time".

Rob Salvesen, Head of Marketing, said: "We know drinkers love our original sweet apple cider flavour and we've combined this with a blend of refreshing cherry for those looking for something new.

"Kopparberg is famous for flavour and we know Cherry will be a popular new variant for our fans. It's the perfect drink to enjoy with family and friends and we look forward to drinkers across the UK enjoying the new variant in the lead up to the summer."

If the cherry flavour isn't for you, Kopparberg also offer: Mixed Fruit, Strawberry and Lime, Pear, Blueberry and Lime, Raspberry, Elderflower and Lime, Sweet Apple, Naked Apple, Rhubarb, and Passionfruit.

There's also a light version of the cider, which contains less calories, as well as an alcohol-free option. If none of that tickles your fancy you could opt for a Kopparberg Gin which comes in two flavours: Strawberry and Lime and Mixed Fruit.
