Lidl Is Selling A Hammock For Summer And It's Only £6.99

Lidl Is Selling A Hammock For Summer And It's Only £6.99

Presumably right now you're dreaming of experiencing beach life and lazing around all day on a hammock - but perhaps you're also lacking the funds to pay your rent, let alone jet off on a luxury holiday. Yeah, same here mate.

However, thanks to Lidl, you can bring the beach to you, sort of, for less than £7. How's that, you ask? Why, with the budget supermarket's bargain-tastic hammock.

Ok, you'll need to have the right set-up in your back garden, but that shouldn't be too hard to sort.

It was first posted to the 10 ways to have more money Facebook group and will be available from Thursday 13 June. Given that they're a right old bargain, I would suggest getting in there quickly while they're still available.

Spotted in one of the store's weekly deal brochures, the £6.99 hammock also comes in two different colours and people on social media seem to be very excited about the prospect of owning their very own hammock.

One person tagged a friend, saying: "OMG I need more hammock action in my life."

Another said: "If only we had something on the garden to attach it to!"

Tagging their flatmate, one person wrote said: "Shall we get one for the balcony?" with their mate enthusiastically replying: "For 6.99, hell yes."

One user suggested she could just swap it for her bed, with another one saying she could put one in the living room. All good ideas in my book.

Granted, you'll need to find somewhere to hang them from, so if you don't happen to have two palm trees in your back yard, you might have to improvise. One option is to screw two hooks in to two walls at a right angle. If you don't have that set up, you could always buy a frame.

Or alternatively, Wayfair has this hammock and stand on offer at the moment, which if you're feeling like splashing out a bit could be a better option as it includes both.

The Lidl one does state that it's only suitable for one person, so if you're planning on 'hanging out' (sorry) with a mate or partner in one, this double one - also from Wayfair - is a shout.

Specifically made for two people you can be reassured that you won't have any hammock-related injuries.
