A man narrowly missed being hit by a car that came crashing through his house because he had nipped out the room to go the toilet.
Stan Miller, 75, had been sat in his living room in Cambridge writing out some Christmas cards when he got out of his chair and popped to the toilet.

Just seconds after he had left the room a Vauxhall Corsa - driven by a suspected drunk driver - smashed through the wall of his bungalow and ended up halfway into his living room.
A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and today experts have been out to assess the damage and establish if the property is structurally sound.
Stan's daughter Denise Flood, 41, said: "If he hadn't have moved the wall and window would have just landed on top of him.
"The front end of the car is sat in the middle of the room.

"I'm just really glad he's OK.
"It's the sort of thing you see on the telly but you don't expect it to happen to your own family.
"A neighbour called me from dad's phone to say what had happened.

"Luckily I only live up the road, so I was here within seconds.
"We all live close by, so he's got plenty of places to stay.
"He's a very private man and hates that we're all worrying about him."
Stan, who has nine grandchildren, said he heard a loud crash just as he reached the hallway of his home.

Stan says there's been a few 'near misses' over the years with his house being located on the corner of a T-junction with a mini roundabout.
The driver of the Corsa reportedly attempted to flee the scene but was chased down by a neighbour who convinced him to come back, where he was arrested.
A statement from Cambridgeshire police said: "Officers were called to Northfields Avenue, Cambridge at about 9.15pm last night with reports a black Vauxhall Corsa had crashed into the side of a bungalow.
