A driver who plunged 160ft (48.7m) after driving over a cliff edge in Wales has miraculously survived without serious injury.
Emergency services were called out to Strumble Head, Pembrookshire, at 10.30am yesterday (Friday 12 July) where a car lay twisted and wrecked at the bottom of a cliff with the driver still inside.
The cliffs in the area can be as high as 160ft, with jagged rocks at the bottom.

Someone who spotted the car called emergency services resulting in four fire appliances, a number of police and an air ambulance arriving at the scene to help rescue the driver, who was, incredibly, freed from the wreckage without the need for cutting equipment.
A paramedic was winched down to the scene to treat the patient, who was then taken to hospital where, despite the height of the drop, he is not thought to have sustained any serious injuries.
The car has been recovered and removed, but it doesn't look as though anyone will be driving that any time soon.
Hardly able to believe that the motorist was released so easily, The Sun reports one emergency service worker to have said: "If I was him, I'd be buying a lottery ticket."

Images taken of the incident show the heavily damaged car, which appears to have twisted doors and smashed windows as well as destroyed front and rear.
A coastguard spokesperson said: "HM Coastguard received a call from the Welsh Ambulance Service just before 10.45am this morning (Friday 12 July) reporting that a car had gone over a cliff at Strumble Head, Pembrokeshire.
"Fishguard and Moylegrove Coastguard Rescue Teams, the inshore and all-weather Fishguard RNLI Lifeboats, HM Coastguard Helicopter from St Athan, Dyfed-Powys Police, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and an air ambulance were all sent.

"The Coastguard winch-man paramedic was lowered to assess the casualty.
"The casualty was then transferred onto the lifeboat before being passed into the care of the ambulance service and taken to hospital."
A police spokesman said: "The man was released from the car and taken by lifeboat to Fishguard Harbour.
"He was examined by paramedics and then taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries did not appear to be serious.

"The car has been recovered from the scene."
Let's hope he can make a quick recovery.
