Queen Street in Cardiff was packed with people when the motorbike headed through the crowds at lunchtime yesterday, Wales Online reports.

Footage shows one man stopping the rider while shouting: "Oi, what the fuck are you doing? That's my daughter!" He then appears to drag the man off the bike, who hits the floor.

A security guard from a nearby shop attempts to step in, but as he does so, the motorbike rider runs off, and appears to be in such a rush that he leaves his bike behind.

An eyewitness told Wales Online: "It was really shocking. I couldn't believe there was a motorbike on the street when it was so busy with shoppers.

"There were two people on the one bike at one point.

"I think he might have run over the dad's foot and then he was shouting that they had nearly run over his little girl.

"The rider was pulled off the bike and then he ran for it."

Joel Safini, assistant manager at the Samsung store near where the incident took place, told the paper: "We heard a guy shouting outside because the bike got quite close to his daughter.

"The next thing, the guy runs up to him and rips him down off the bike in the middle of the street.

"At about 1.30pm the guy on the bike was just revving the engine outside Zara.

"You can't even ride a bike down Queen Street, let alone a motorbike. The police came pretty quickly too."

A spokesperson from South Wales Police told Wales Online that they are looking for the rider and are currently checking CCTV. They added that the motorbike had been recovered from the scene.

Anyone with any information should call police on 101.
