I'm going to go ahead and assume you've heard the news that Prince Harry and Suits actress Meghan Markle have formally announced their engagement today.
After days of speculation, Kensington Palace confirmed the news on Twitter - very modern, what would the Queen say?
While some of us were busy tweeting 'do we get an extra day off or what?' others were having their minds blown by the fact that Harry isn't even called Harry.
Yup, Harry's actual name is Prince Henry of Wales - or Henry Charles Albert David, to give him the full listing.
Twitter reacted thusly:
Did anyone else not know Prince Harry's name is actually Henry? I didn't. https://t.co/hgHAMai8a6

And if that's not enough to mess with your mind, his new bride-to-be also uses a name which isn't her own.
Meghan Markle, was actually born Rachel Meghan Markle, but works under her middle name. So when the pair do tie the knot and are bestowed with fancy new official titles there's going to be a lot of fucking about.
Official titles need official names, so while the pair are probably going to still be able to call each Harry and Meghan around the house, formally they will be Prince Henry of Wales and Princess Rachel of Wales.

Or if Harry's made a duke on his wedding day - like his brother, William - it's believed he will take the vacant role of Duke of Sussex, so the pair will become Duke Henry of Sussex and Duchess Rachel of Sussex.
I feel like it would just be easier if they both went ahead and got their names legally changed, surely?
