Poundland Is Selling A £5 Vibrator For Valentine’s Day

Valentine's Day is fast approaching, which means you don't have long to pull out the stops for the one you love - yep, even if the one you love is, in fact, yourself.

Either way, Poundland is helping you all out with a cheeky £5 sex toy, which has been added to its 'Nooky' range ahead of the big day on 14 February.

The 'Bonkin' Bunny' vibrator will be available at stores nationwide, but according to the Mirror, you'll need to discreetly ask for 'Justin' at the till, which will prompt staff to hand one over from behind the counter.

The Nooky range, which features items from just £1, also includes lubricant, stimulators and 'energy-enhancing' supplements. They don't require a special code word to buy them, as they can just be plucked straight from the shelves.

But if you feel some Poundland lube might not quite strike the romantic tone you were after, the budget chain is selling something else that may just do the trick: an engagement ring.

A £1 engagement ring, to be precise.

Last month we reported Poundland would be selling the cut-price ring ahead of Valentine's Day for budding Romeos - or Juliets - to get down on one knee.

The 'Bling Ring' Cubic Zirconia products even come presented in a fetching red box, so you can snap it open as you pop the question.

The Poundland engagement rings cost - you guessed it - £1.

They also come in a range of styles and sizes (this is personal, after all - you couldn't just get them any £1 engagement ring), as you can choose between silver and gold colourways with gemstones resembling diamond, ruby and topaz.

The rings are intended as a 'placeholder ring' - a new trend in the wedding industry that's becoming increasingly popular for those wanting to propose before they can afford the actual ring, or for anyone who's yet to find the perfect ring for the one in their life.

Poundland's new jewellery buyer Frances O'Sullivan said: "These are beautiful placeholder rings because we know they'll want to buy their own. We're looking forward to a #PoundlandProposal becoming the way it's done.

"Our Bling Ring is setting the scene for the real deal!"
