Primark Confirms It Does Not Have An Online Store

Value fashion chain Primark has moved to scotch rumours that it had launched an online store with Amazon.

Thew retailer has actually issued a warning that any products appearing on sites such as Amazon are in fact being re-sold at a higher cost by third partners.

So, the moral of the story is: save your pennies and shop in store like we've always had to do.

This doesn't totally cancel out the websites where you can buy Primark's stock from - it's just a nod from the retailer itself that any online seller is completely unconnected.

So, technically, you can still buy the store's stuff online when you search 'Primark' on Amazon which will show you a range of items such as homeware products and pyjamas.

And if you're concerned about whether your local branch will have your desired products in stock, you could always consider paying a visit to the world's biggest store, which is located in Birmingham.

The shop spans across five floors and has a Disney-themed cafe on the top floor (as well as two more cafes), a dedicated Harry Potter area, a beauty studio and barber's shop.

You could literally sort out your entire weekend's admin in the space of an hour. Need your hair chopping? Sorted. Brows tidying? No problem. Why don't you meet a friend for coffee and get a few white t-shirts while you're at it? Everyone needs white t-shirts.

They've not stopped there either because the changing rooms are also impressive to customers as you can actually Bluetooth your own music, control the lighting and show off your outfit to your mate who's sat on a sofa outside. Unless, like me, you just want to get in and out with no fuss.

Speaking to Birmingham Live ahead of the launch back in April, a spokesperson for Primark said: "The store, Primark Birmingham High Street, will be our largest to date and 187 in the UK.

"It will feature the latest contemporary shop fit and an enhanced customer experience across 160,100 sq ft of retail space and five floors of fashion.

"The store will create more than 500 new jobs, while 430 colleagues will transfer from our existing location in Birmingham. The store will have the latest trends in womenswear, menswear and kidswear including footwear and accessories, as well as lingerie, beauty and homeware."

Who needs Amazon?
