Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shared their first kiss as a married couple, with the bride and groom locking lips on the steps outside St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The stunning ceremony was attended by hundreds of well-wishers - including your usual royal lot with tripled-barrelled names, along with a few high-profile famous faces in the crowd.

Idris Elba and new fiancée Sabrina Dhowre were there, as were George and Amal Clooney, James Corden, Tom Hardy, Oprah Winfrey and the Beckhams. Elton John, who is tipped to be performing later on, was also in attendance.

Oh, and just to add a bit of awkwardness to the proceedings, Harry's ex, Chelsy Davy, rocked up as well - quickly becoming a meme after she was spotted looking less than impressed.

Meghan arrived at the church looking a million dollars (probably more, actually, let's face it), and was walked down the aisle by ol' Prince Charles, who saved the day as Meghan's own dad couldn't attend.

Prince Harry was seen wiping away tears during the ceremony, and the two were also caught sharing a few giggles and smirks throughout - not least while Bishop Michael Curry gave his rousing speech.

He quoted from Martin Luther King Jr and told the crowd: "We must discover the power of love, the power, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that we will be able to make of this old world a new world."

Weddings can usually be pretty boring but this guy definitely perked things up a lot. Absolute hero.

It was announced earlier this week that Meghan and Harry had chosen niece Charlotte and nephew George to play a large role in the wedding ceremony, with Kensington Palace confirming that they would be page boy and bridesmaid.

Prince Harry's goddaughters, Florence van Cutsem, aged three, and Zalie Warren, two, also joined Princess Charlotte as bridesmaids.

As well as getting himself a new wife, Harry has also picked up a few new titles - he's now Duke of Sussex, while Meghan is Duchess of Sussex. The Queen also bestowed the titles of Earl of of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel on Harry and Countess of Dumbarton and Baroness Kilkeel on Meghan.

Now the happy couple are off to their reception. I'm not sure how these things work when it comes to the royal family, but I assume there's going to be little sausage rolls, an open-bar and then everyone goes ape-shit when Come On Eileen plays.
