Royal Wedding Party 'Had Beer-Pong And A Dance-Off Featuring Prince Charles'

It turns out the royals know how to throw a good party

I think you'd probably be forgiven for thinking that royal celebrations are a bit dry and boring; I mean, of course, we'd all love to imagine that the Queen gets absolutely wrecked on gin and starts demanding that everyone sings 'God the Save Queen' at 2am, while Prince Charles is spewing into a crown after downing shots of Fireball with William, but in reality, it's a much more civilised affair, surely?

Well not according to The Mirror, which has reported that Saturday's royal wedding reception had Beer-Pong, George Clooney dancing with Meghan and Kate and DJ sets from Idris Elba and Sam Totolee.

James Corden, who compered the night, also arranged a dance-off with Charles, William, Harry, Meghan and Meghan's mum Doria. Jesus wept. Can you imagine that? Try and imagine that.

There was a speech by William and Harry's pals Charlie van Straubenzee and Tom Inskip, in which they took the piss out of Harry's burgeoning bald patch (a bit rich coming from Wills) and made several references to his 'wild past'.

Meghan also made a speech in which she thanked Charles for walking her down the aisle before declaring her love for her new hubby by saying: "I have found my prince." She also took the opportunity to thank her friends for their support and the royals for welcoming her into 'the firm'. Sweet.

Making the whole evening even more surreal, Meghan's beloved pet pooch Guy was also at the party and was said to have been having the time of his little life scuttling about the place eating food that had been dropped on the floor.

Talking about the night, one guest told the Mirror: "It was informal and a lovely atmosphere. The whole evening had a really chilled, festival vibe."

Harry and Meghan left the bash, which was held at Windsor's Frogmore House, around midnight, but the guests are reported to have gone on to an 'after-after-party' at the fancy Chiltern Firehouse in London.

We can assume there was some sore heads the next day, even the Queen was spotted wearing sunglasses as she left Kensington Palace to go to church on Sunday. Heavy one, Liz?
