There's a few weeks to go until the big day, so that means you have plenty of time to pick out the best present for that special woman in your life. I am, of course, talking about your mum.

But if you're struggling to think of a gift for Mother's Day, we might have the perfect thing - just as long as yer mam can take a joke, that is. Check out the video below:

Bargain hunter Holly Smith couldn't believe it when she spotted a cheeky range of cards in Poundland and was so pleased with her find she decided to share them with her army of followers.

The vlogger posted a short video of her flicking through the cards to her Facebook page, Holly Vlogs.

One particularly loving design says: "Happy Mother's Day. I promise to put you in the BEST nursing home - no matter how far away it is."

The 'savage' Mother's Day cards have divided opinion online.

Another tongue-in-cheek card reads: "Thanks for wiping my bum. It won't be long before I'm returning the favour."

One of the cards in the series pits mums and dads against each other, saying: "You're very nearly my favourite parent."

Another one simply lets her know that although you can be a bit of a pain in the arse, she has no choice but to put up with you.

It says: "I might be a little shit but I'm your little shit. Happy Mother's Day."

So sweet.

The cards have divided opinion among followers of the page, with some claiming they go too far while others think they're hilarious.

One person wrote: "Horrible cards, how rude and disrespectful to mums who do their best to bring their children up."

Another offended user wholeheartedly agreed, commenting: "I wouldn't be amused if I received one, it would go in the bin!!!"

Some people saw the funny side, however.

The funny tongue-in-cheek cards were spotted in Poundland.

"My mum would laugh her head off at any of these and tell me I'm a cheeky cow and no longer in her will," wrote one.

A second absolutely loved them, saying: "Mate that's funny... hahaha I'd die with laughter if one of my kids gave me this, it's brilliant haha."

While a third added: "I think they are bit fun, I know my mum would find them funny."

Safe to say Poundland has been playing an absolute blinder this year. Just last month the budget store released £1 engagement rings, which flew off the shelves, with more than 20,000 sold in the first week.

Bravo.
