Sky Sports presenter Simon Thomas has posted a touching photo to Instagram in memory of his late wife who died overnight Friday.
Thomas, who previously presented BBC's Blue Peter for six years, lost his 40-year-old wife Gemma to cancer just three days after she was diagnosed with aggressive myeloid leukaemia.
Captioning the photo on the social media site, Thomas wrote: "Team Thomas. Three has become two. Heartbroken and suffocating with grief."
The picture shows 44-year-old Simon with his wife and son Ethan, standing on the edge of a lake with the sun setting over the trees.

It is understood that Gemma felt unwell last weekend and was told to rest after visiting her GP several times.
However, her condition deteriorated and she was taken to hospital where she was diagnosed just 12 hours after she last visited the doctor.
Yesterday, Thomas revealed that his eight-year-old son Ethan had made a tragic Christmas wish following Gemma's sudden death.
The couple's grief-stricken son has said that all he wants for Christmas this year is his 'mummy back', his father said.

"He said he wants Playmobil and other gifts for Christmas, but most of all 'I want mummy back', and I can't help him with that," Thomas told Mirror Online.
The famous TV presenter and Norwich City supporter, who is now taking time off work, first spoke of his grief on Saturday as he posted a tweet thanking the public for their support.
Thomas said that Gemma died surrounded by family and friends after spending her final moments with him and Ethan, their son.

In an emotional post on Twitter, Thomas announced Gemma's death, writing: "Today I am crushed with indescribable pain. Just three days after falling ill with Acute Myloid Leukaemia, my dear wife Gemma passed away yesterday evening surrounded by her family and friends."
"If you are a prayer - pray for my boy Ethan. 8yrs, precious and in bits. Thank you," he added.
