After winning two from two, reality TV-star-come-MMA-protégé Aaron Chalmers has now said he'll quit Geordie Shore to focus on his promising sporting career.

The 30-year-old from Newcastle has also said that he's getting too old for the show that has launched him into the public eye.

After beating Alex Thompson in his second fight (in only 40 seconds), Aaron told the Mail Online that his age and relationship status are making it difficult to return to the MTV show.

BOOOM! Who doubts him now?

He said: "Geordie Shore is my job, that's what has made us, but obviously I'm 30 now and I have a girlfriend, so maybe it's my time to step out of Geordie Shore and let somebody younger come in.

"I've done what I need to do on there. You have to understand the show doesn't grow old, but we do. Six years ago, it was fun, but we're getting older. The audience is getting younger and we're getting older."

He remained thankful to the show that, adding that he 'never thought' he'd be on the billboard to a fight at Wembley Arena, describing it as 'surreal'.

Aaron joins co-star Gary Beadle in quitting the show. Beadle planned to move down-under to Australia, and is currently expecting a baby with his girlfriend, Emma McVey.

His latest fight was over in no time, after Chalmers landed a clean left-handed hook into Thompson's face. He got another chance to hit him with his right hand as his opponent fell to the floor.

Aaron said after the win: "What can I say? Knocked out, not even broken a sweat. Once again, I've shut people up.

"I'm glad to be here, glad to be here on the big stage and glad to get the knockout."

Plenty of celebrities were in the audience, including professional boxer David Haye, who was probably there to do some research.

Following UFC star Conor McGregor moving to boxing to fight Floyd Mayweather in August, Haye has announced he, too, will take on a MMA specialist.

UFC fighter Jimi Manuwa has confirmed that he and David Haye will step in the ring next year.

Haye is currently recovering from a ruptured Achilles sustained during his defeat to Tony Bellew earlier this year, however he talked to Manuwa at BAMMA 31 - with the two agreeing to a fight.
